Sending it early because I’ll be getting busy starting tomorrow with my Membership Vault launch prep over at my main thing… the thing that pays bills.
Anyhow.
I had brunch with someone. He asked me about my thoughts on the upcoming election and I gave it to him solid: One party stabs you in the front and the other stabs you in the back. The only way forward is a third party or at least the beginning of normalization of it starting this election cycle. So he shared his two cents. According to him, these politicians are banal; they’re all just idiots.
I was waiting for the moment he’d piss me off (he always does), and it finally came. I mean, imagine if we started excusing all evil as simply stupidity… like, give me a fucking break already!
Anyway.
Pub list:
Curated Opportunities
These opportunities focus on creative and sometimes magazine writing. I try to include a mix of super high-profile and indie publications that are more beginner-friendly. (Click the names of the publications for detailed submission guidelines.)
***[Personal note: I just finished writing a short story, so I’ll be sending it to most of these pubs and also many of those I shared last week :) Which is to say, dream big, guys! I mean, sure, I have no hope for Granta or The New Yorker, but do I care? Nope! Success never comes without an unhealthy dose of rejection is my mantra!]***

*** Note: I cannot always vet each of these publications, unfortunately. So, please do your due diligence and research. See if their values align with yours, if there are conditions/restrictions to who can or cannot pitch/submit, whether or not they’re a paying market, how much they pay, etc., if these things matter to you.***
Enjoy the weekend.
